Béres, Harslevelu Extra Brut, Tokaj, Hungary 2019

A bright, food-friendly Extra Brut made using Hárslevelu – Furmint's most important blending partner in Tokaj. Lime zest, bruised apple and just a touch of toast on the nose. Frothy with razor-sharp acidity, the palate exudes yellow and green apple, zesty lime and almond bitterness, seasoned with white pepper. Bone-dry and zingy, it cries out for seafood. The 2019 vintage was disgorged in May 2022.
